Policy Summary
The insurance company will at its option pay for, replace or repair accidental loss of or damage to the Aircraft insured arising from the risk of accidental damage including disappearance if the Aircraft is unreported, missing or its whereabouts unknown for fifteen days after the commencement of Flight. Further, if the Aircraft is insured for the risks of Flight, the insurance company in addition pay reasonable emergency expenses necessarily incurred by the insured owner for the immediate safety of the Aircraft consequent upon damage or forced or emergency landing up to ten percent (10 %) of the amount insured subject to an agreed maximum amount.

This policy is ideal for clients who own private and commercial aircrafts, luxury aircrafts, passenger carrying aircrafts, cargo carrying aircrafts operating within the Kenyan air space and beyond.
In order to place aviation hull insurance policy, the client will need to provide the following details:-
- Full Name of the client /proposer for insurance, Postal Address, Telephone Contact, PIN Number
- Occupation (Business from which client derives his income)
- Description of the vessel insured, age, make, model, classification
- In case of commercial aircraft the operation route and general geographical operation
- Types of goods normally carried e.g. general merchandise, passangers, etc.
- Valuation report and air worthiness certificate
- License from the relevant aviation authority
