Claims Process & Documents required for Home Insurance Package claims
In the event of a claim occurring under the home package Insurance, we shall require the following documents in order to process the claim:-
- A Duly completed Claim form.
- Police abstract report.
- Replacement invoices or/& purchase receipts/ proforma invoices.
- Statement on the circumstance of the loss
- Witness(es) statement(s).

Claims Process
In the event of a fire claim occurring, we shall require the following documents in order to process the claim:-
- Immediate claim notification to Verge Insurance Brokers
- A Duly completed Claim form.
- Police abstract report.
- Bill of Quantities/Replacement invoice/ Purchase receipts/ Proforma invoices.
- Statement on the circumstances of the loss.
- Witness (es) statements.

Claims Process
In the event of a fire or related claim occurring, we shall require the following documents in order to process the claim:-
- Claim notification to the Verge Insurance Brokers. to facilitate the appointment of a loss adjustor.
- Take necessary steps to minimise the losses.
- A Duly completed Claim form and statement on the circumstances of the loss.
- Notify the police and obtain a Police abstract.
- Witness(es) statements.
- Furnish the loss adjustor with all documents requested such as audited financial reports for the most recent financial period.
In the event of a claim, Verge Insurance Brokers claims team will support you through the process to ensure the seamless and efficient claims process and early settlement. You can conveniently report the claim at the nearest VIB Branch. The following steps should be followed when a loss occurs:-
- Inform the police straightaway
- Notify the claim to Verge Insurance Brokers immediately.
- Take necessary steps to protect undamaged property and minimise the losses.
- Submit a duly completed Claim form and statement on the circumstances of the loss.
- Obtain a police abstract report in case of fire, theft or malicious damage.
- Submit witness(es) statements.
- Furnish the loss adjustor with all documents requested such as audited financial reports for the most recent financial period, stock records etc.
- Proof of cost/ books of accounts such as purchase invoices, delivery notes and receipts.

- A Duly completed Claim form and statement on the circumstances of the loss.
- Notify the police and obtain a Police abstract in case of ire, theft or malicious damage.
- Witness(es) statements.
- Furnish the loss adjustor with all documents requested such as audited financial reports for the most recent financial period.
- Proof of cost/ Books of accounts such as purchase invoices and receipts.
- Stock records.
