Theft Insurance Claim Process
Claims Process
In the event of a burglary incident, the following documents will be required to process the claim:
- A Duly completed Claim form.
- Police abstract report.
- Repair invoice (in case of repairable damage)
- Replacement invoice/ purchase receipt/ proforma invoice.
- Statement on the circumstances of the loss from the insured.
- Witness(es) statement(s).

- Statement on the circumstances of the loss from the insured.

- A Duly completed Claim form
- Police abstract report
- Insured’s statement on the circumstances of the loss
- Replacement or repair invoice/ purchase receipts (For safe/ strong room damage claims only).
- Evidence of cash transaction e.g. Banks statements, withdrawal slip, receipt books e.t.c
Documents/action required for Fidelity Guarantee claims:
Documents/ items required from the Insured
- Notification of incident to the police
- Claim notification to the Insurance Broker/company to facilitate the appointment of a loss adjustor
- Suspension or arrest of the suspected culprits or employees
- Duly completed Claim form and give particulars of the claim and necessary evidence.
- Reference letters from previous employers for suspected employees
- Details of terminal dues to suspected employees
- Copies of letter of appointment, letter of suspension or dismissal, employee’s National Identity card
- Statements from the suspected employees
- Statement of the employee’s immediate supervisor on how the loss occurred
- Detailed computation of loss
- Police abstract report
